Abstrakt: The article presents a study which discusses the promotion of awareness on local food risk during counterinsurgency operations. Health communication specialist and health analysts from the U.S. Army Public Health Command (USAPHC) formed a multidisciplinary food safety communication team (FSCT) to develop a health communication package. Results show that respondents became more aware of the risks of local food-borne illness to the community.
