States that functional assessments and direct measures of physical performance are standard components of community-based studies of older populations. Why estimates of the reliability of these measures are necessary; Results from the assessment of reproducibility of 13 measures of self-reported function and 11 direct measures of physical performance; What the study's conclusion suggest about future functional assessments. |
