BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT AND SCIENCE EDUCATION STUDENTS' ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY, ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOURS.

Abstrakt: The aim of this study is, to determine the students' environmental sensitivity, attitude and behaviour levels in terms of different variables. The sample included a total of 507 students who studied at Biology department and Science Education undergraduate programme of a state university in Turkey. "Environmental Sensitivity, Attitude and Behaviour Scale" and "Personal Information Form" were used for data collection. Findings show that, there was found a meaningful difference in terms of gender, grade level, choice order, to be a member of civil society organization and reading at least one journal about environment variables. According to their undergraduate programmes and living places there was not found any meaningful difference at all subdimensions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
