The article focuses on the impact of the history of Amish people on the quilts they made between 1880 and 1930s. It says that colorful clothing are worn by children until the time of their baptism around the age between 18-22. It adds that the fabrics used by Amish women for quilting are those which they use for their everyday life. Moreover, the most commonly used fabric for quilting is wool. |
