The article presents a research which examines the lung cancer risks of residential polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) using occupational data. It explores the factors which are likely to affect the validity of estimates as well as discusses the potency of coal-tar derived PAHs. The research uses a linear non-threshold model and looks at the carcinogenic potential of coal tar derived from PAHs. |
