Abstrakt:	The article presents legislative research on the developments and U.S. interests in the Central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan. The research covers aspects of Kyrgyzstan from its political background, foreign policy and defense, and the history of its relationship with the U.S. The author gives details on Kyrgyzstan's cooperation with the U.S. on counter-terrorism measures and the U.S. budget allocated for the assistance of Kyrgyzstan from 1992 to 2010.
