| Abstrakt: | The article reports that the United Nations is urging the international community to increase support for food and livestock production in the Sahel. Lamourdia Thiombiano, interim head of the Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Regional Office for Africa, said that the Sahel needs increased funding to address its food and nutrition crises. United Nations said that the funding will be used to provide seeds, fertilizers, small agricultural tools and livestock food supplements. |
