Abstrakt: The article discusses lesser consumption of fruits and vegetables by people in the U.S. as compared to standard dietary recommendations. It further discusses a report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on growing awareness regarding benefits of eating five times a day. It also describes benefits of daily multiple servings, listed by the 2010 U.S. Department of Agriculture's Dietary Guidelines for Americans. It also expands on benefits of fruits and fruit extracts.
