In this article, the authors focus on a study related to the performance of the English stop smoking services in Great Britain since 2001, which has been funded by the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT). They inform that throughput increased from 227,335 in 2001-2002 to 787,527 in 2010-2011 while percentage of four week smoking quitters declined to 34 percent. They also mention smoking cessation medication. |
