The article discusses a study on a microfluidic platform for microenvironment control of neural stem cells (NSCs). The study used the CellASIC ONIX Microfluidic Platform from EMD Millipore, which comprises of a microfluidic system, microincubator controller and a plate with four independent units, among others. The study demonstrated how to tune the oxygen microenvironment from severe anoxia to hyperoxia. Live cell imaging of rat NSCs was performed under the study. |
