The article reports on a study conducted by Moneli Fazeli, Adil Mountasir and Gerald Hoffmann from Technische Universität Dresden to test the mechanical properties of composite sheets and hybrid yarns that are made from multilayered fabrics. It examines the process parameters in the use of air texturing to produce hybrid yarns. It discusses the restriction of Twintex technology in the mixture of polypropylene and glass fibre. |
