Abstrakt: The article discusses international legal standards on terrorism which reveals that customary international law identified terrorism as an international crime. It addresses the elements of terrorism including perpetration of a criminal act, spread fear, and involvement of a transnational terrorist. Contemporary international law incorporated right of revolution under the right of self-determination, which permits use of force against colonial domination, alien occupation and racist regimes.
