The author comments on the development and practice of cremation in the U.S. He believes that cremation education will have a lot of unlearning before current approaches to funeral directors educating consumers take root. He asserts that having a discussion for some funeral directors about the services that can be held when the disposition is cremation is uncomfortable. He adds that the significance of a proper chain of custody policy can never be underestimated. |
