Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a study that examined the morphology of the digestive system of adults and mature larvae of two Monomorium ant species. The ant species found in urban habitats are known as tramp species because they cause problems in the households, businesses and hospitals. The study showed the existence of spinules in adults and Malpighian tubules and rectal pads among different castes, ages and species.
