Industrial testing and production of corrosion-resistant 08ΓЩΦ-Ysteel strip (strength class K50-K52) on the 2800 mill at OAO Ural'skaya Stal' is described. Differences are noted in the degree of alloying and mechanical properties of strip produced by quenching and tempering and by thermomechanical rolling with accelerated cooling.
