Abstrakt:	The article focuses on the expansion of light rail transit (LRT) for the transportation of people in Edmonton, Alberta. It states that Erum Afsar, transportation engineer of the city, has observed a ridership growth by up to 75% to 97,000. Afsar states that expansion plans for LRT will not limit the rights of Edmontonians to drive but rather to give them more choices of transportation.
