Abstrakt: Boundaries of responsibilities, as they are in current practice, are explored and discussed. Weaknesses are pointed out and remedies are suggested. Attention is focused primarily on the frictional interface between the design and con-struction teams. It all concerns quality control and structural adequacy. It Is recognized that many of the ideas presented are controversial, and it is hoped that this will bring out discussion from readers. It is recommended that a "Code of Standard Practice for Concrete Construction," dealing specifically with responsibilities, be de-veloped. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
