Abstrakt: The article reports a case in which a 32-year-old man was diagnosed to be suffering from an acute episode of psoriasis limited to the keloidal areas of his body. It observes that the patient's case was a rare example of the Koebner effect over keloids, which showed that if psoriasis occurs at one site of injury, all injured areas will also develop psoriasis. It adds that elevated mast cell tryptase (MCT) levels following trauma could be responsible for the Koebner phenomenon seen in psoriasis.
