Abstrakt: The article describes the case of a 69 year old woman presented with pain and swelling of the right knee where an ultrasonography confirmed the presence of diffuse linear hyperechogenic deposits on superficial margin of the femoral cartilage suggestive of calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate (CPPD).
