Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 56-year-old man who was presented with black discoloration of his fingertips associated with severe pain and loss of function for 8 weeks. The patient had hypertension and type 2 diabetes but does not take any medication relevant to the presenting symptoms. He was diagnosed with secondary hyperoxalaemia due to high dietary oxalate ingestion in dandelion tea. The case illustrates the danger of high-oxalate foods in chronic kidney disease patients.
