Abstrakt:	The article discusses the painting "The Apostle Paul at His Writing Desk" by the 17th-century Dutch artist Jan Lievens, a work acquired in 2012 by the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Sweden. The author presents brief biographical information on Lievens before describing the painting in detail. In addition, the painting's provenance is also discussed.
