Abstrakt: The article describes three cases of patients with pneumonia presumably caused by community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) positive for Panton-Valentine leukocidin. The patients experienced symptoms of dyspnea, fever, chills, hemotysis, chest pain and cough. Their vital signs were monitored. They were administered with antibiotics but they all died.
