Abstrakt: The article discusses the application of finite element method for pulse transit time (PTT) which is the basis for modeling arterial diseases. It notes that arterial elastic behavior and fitting procedure have been observed through a computational fluid-structure model. It mentions that noninvasive determination of arterial stiffness can be modified by specifications of elastic modules.
