| Abstrakt: | The article explains the type of data collected in turf compaction experiments, discussing some past and latest turfgrass compaction research. Aeration, also known as aerification, is a key in correcting soil compaction in turf. It is found out that compaction of turfglass soils lessens the percent macropores in the soil, thus limiting soil aeration, eventually hurting root growth. |
