In this article the authors discuss various developments in T-cell epitope engineering. According to the authors, T-cell epitopes can be optimized by improving antigen affinity for major histocompatibility complex (MHC); improving antigen affinity for T-cell receptor (TCR); and improving antigen pharmacology. The authors say that optimizing contact interface between the peptide and TCR can also improve T-cell epitopes. |
