| Abstrakt: | The article discusses an unpublished preface to the novel "The Screwtape Letters," which features correspondence between two demons, by author and theologian C. S. Lewis. The author notes differences between the manuscript preface, which is housed at Wheaton College in Illinois, and the preface that was included in the book's first edition. Focus is given to the way in which the character Dr. Ransom, from Lewis' "Out of the Silent Planet," is featured in the published preface. |
