| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study which aims to analyze the plasma levels of the pentraxin 3 (PTX3) in multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis (NMO) patients. The study made use of an immunosorbent assay in 26 NMO patients, 22, MS patients, and 15 acute cerebral infraction (CI) patients to measure the plasma PTX3 concentrations.The results of the study shows that higher plasma PTX3 will increase the trends of disease disability showed by the MS and NMO patients during relapse. |
