Abstrakt: The article offers information on the uroporphyrinogen decarboxylase (UROD) used for treating the head and neck cancer (HNC). It mentions that an RNA interference (RNAi)-based radiosensitizer high-throughput screen (HTS) was conducted for identifying the novel genes that will sensitize HNC cells to ionizing radiation. It also reveals that the UROD serves as a potent tumor-selective sensitizer for radiation.
