The article focuses on the role of the Western countries (West) in the Arab Spring, a term which is used for a revolutionary wave of nonviolent and violent demonstrations, riots, and civil wars in the Arab world since December 2010. It examines the motive and level of involvement of the West in the Libyan civil war. It reflects that the West motive lies in the resources of the Arab world and Africa that is why they have instrumentalized the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Libya. |
