Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study on the effects of attaks by pumas and jaguars on livestock in Costa Rica. It states that the study conducted interviews with ranchers and inspected farms in the region according to ranch features, livestock management practices, and predation. It cites various factors to be considered in management approaches such as damage quantification in terms of market value, size of the ranches and livestock production system. |
