Abstrakt: The construction of 1000 kV EHV AC\DC net challenges the reliability of relay protection unprecedentedly. One of these new issues is how to record the true value measured and sent by intelligent relay protection system. The introduction of switch in net-sample-net-trip substation causes uncertain transfer delay and arrival interval deviation, which makes the recorded data unreliable. While the mirrored GOOSE and SV packets from different network interfaces can not be sent at exactly the same time in direct-sample-direct-trip substation. To tackle this problem, a brand new packets gathering technique based on spectroscope is introduced. Based on the result of dynamic simulations carried out in CEPRI, different modes of digital fault recorder are compared and analyzed. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
