Abstrakt: The article discusses recommendations for dietary intake of caffeine, alcohol, and artificial sweeteners for patients attempting conception mirror those for pregnant patients. The article provides that moderate amounts of caffeine and artificial sweeteners are safe, whereas excessive alcohol consumption could lead to decreased fertility. It mentions that moderate exercise in pregnancy is safe, but women engaging in vigorous exercise may consider attenuated activity during the first trimester.
