| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the connection between the United Nations (UN) Rule of Law and democracy in addressing the gap between policies and practices. It mentions that the interconnection of human rights, the rule of law and democracy were reaffirmed by the declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. It notes that the fact that an institutional approach does not imply about actual outcomes of processes and procedures is a common aspect of both democracy and the rule of law. |
