The article discusses the history of landscape photography in Israel, focusing particularly on the P6 Group of photographers consisting of: Yaakov Israel; Yosaif Cohain; Oren Noy; Orit Siman Tov; Yigal Feliks; and Igael Shemtov. Biographical sketches of the six photographers, which highlight their careers and professional development, are presented. Photographs originally shown as part of the 2010 exhibition entitled "Building a Place: The P6 Group and Critical Landscape Photography," held at the Rubin Museum in Tel Aviv, Israel, are presented. |
