Abstrakt:	The article discusses the author's experiences as a teacher, and argues that what the author describes as excessive regulations and requirements are preventing teachers from connecting with students and doing their jobs effectively. Suggestions for administrators on how to support teachers and prevent them from being discouraged are also offered.
