Mobile ad-hoc network is a wireless infrastructure network where there is no central co-ordination among the nodes. The nodes try to communicate with each other without any fixed networking infrastructure, thus the ad-hoc network is self adaptive. This paper presents a scheme to balance the load with energy efficiency considering both congestion and the nodes energy usage. A threshold value is used to judge if intermediate node is overloaded, variable and changing along with nodes interface queue occupancy around the backward path. A routing protocol called EEAODV that is intended to provide a reliable transmission with low energy consumption, and simulation results show the performance of packet delivery ratio, average end to end delay, load distribution [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
