The aircraft landing on carrier deck is non-linear and complex and involves so many factors, so it is still a difficult technical problem to have an accurate grip of the safety feature and laws behind the landing conditions. To solve this problem, an analysis method of landing safety based on Rough Set Theory is presented in this paper, so as to: 1) Identify the key kinematical parameters in the analysis of landing conditions; 2) Based on 1), identify the laws between kinematical parameters during landing and landing conditions; 3) Based on 2), determine the values of kinematical parameters and their combinations when the landing condition is critical between safety and unsafety, namely the safety boundary conditions. The samples of landing can be divided into two classes, success or failure. In general, the accuracy of classification based on the rules discovered by using Rough Set Theory is high (larger than 80%), and the rules can to some extent reflect the laws of changes in the safety feature of landing conditions. The method also has practical significance. Besides being used directly to analyze the landing safety, the laws are one of the bases for establishing control requirements of kinematical parameters on landing safety, and can be used to determine the safety boundary conditions. Furthermore, the analysis of the key kinematical parameters can provide a reference for which aspects should be noted and controlled specially during landing. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
