The electricity networks' unifying in order to create a single electricity market represents a complex process. In last years, transmission corridors are considered an optimal solution for integration into a common electricity market. Real power exchanges between regions are achieved through another intermediary region and may cause congestion in transmission networks. This paper contains an analysis of transmission cost allocation to market participants in case of indirect transfer using an interconnected power system. Case study is carried on a real system, including West, South-West and North-West parts of Romanian Power System. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER] |
