Abstrakt: Eco-compensation is one of the focus and hot topics for contemporary scientific research, in which the compensation standard takes the most important part. Based on the remote sensing data, meteorological data and field investigation data, with the simulation of terrestrial net primary productivity (NPP) from CASA model, we estimate and inverse the vegetation eco-compensation standards by means of market price method and energy substitutions, the results show that: eco-compensation standard for each vegetation type in the Qinghai Lake Watershed is respectively 5467yuan/ hm2 of mountain shrub, 5303yuan/ hm2 of arable land, 5028yuan/ hm2 of valley shrub, 4923yuan/ hm2 of alpine meadow, 4898yuan/ hm2 of lakeside marsh, 4525yuan/ hm2 of alpine marsh, 4507yuan/ hm2 of temperate grassland, 4058yuan/ hm2 of valley marsh, 2575yuan/ hm2 of sparse vegetation on alpine flowstone slope. The eco-compensation value on the County scale are respectively 47.61 ×108yuan for Tianjun County, 29.18 x 108yuan for Gangcha County, 5.63 × 108yuan for Haiyan County, and16.31 x 108yuan for the Gonghe County , the total vegetation compensation value of the Qinghai Lake Watershed is 98.73 × 108yuan.
