Abstrakt: |
This paper describes a proposal which extends Allen's interval algebra by adapting the formalism for dealing with binary relations involving time periods with uncertain boundaries. The extended formalism has been proposed having in mind the subsequent investigation of the automatic learning of temporal relations using an inductive logic programming system (FOIL).
