An application package was created for numerical simulation of powerful pulsed electromagnetic energy generators of different types. These generators include those based on the capacitive energy storages in the form of Arkad'ev-Marx generators with forming lines, inductive storages with pulsed high-current multy-staged charging and switching by electroexplosive current breakers as well as magnetic cumulative generators with step-up transformers. Examples of such generators applications in the acceleration technology are considered. Conditions of their matching with high-current electron beam producing vacuum diodes were investigated numerically for obtaining maximum efficiency of energy transmission into the beam. Our calculations demonstrated the possibility of obtaining in this accelerators high-aperture electron beams having rectangular cross section and time duration of t = 1−10 microseconds, electron energies Ue = 0.5 MeV and currents of the order of tens and hundreds of kiloamps.
