| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study of a 6-year-old malnourished boy with a history of fever and pain in right upper abdomen. Investigations revealed a rare case of Amebic liver abscess (ALA)associated with thrombus in the hepatic veins and inferior vena cava extending into the right atrium. The article discusses how this was successfully treated with thrombectomy and open drainage of a large left lobe. |
