The article offers information on several paintings that were completed by the artists Jan Beerstraaten and his son, Abraham Beerstraaten, and are in the collections at the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Sweden. Particular focus is given to the paintings "View of the Nieuwezijdskapel and the Haringpakkerstoren in Amsterdam," attributed to Abraham Beerstraaten and "By the Seaside/The Fortress Rammekens near Flushings," attributed to Jan Beerstraaten, which both depict landscapes and cityscapes in the Netherlands. |
