The article presents political and economic outlook for 2013-2017 of Brazil. It highlights Dilma Rousseff, a leftist Partido dos Trabslhodores (PT) who bid for another term as president which will focus on the development of international role for Brazil such as seat on UN Security Council and strengthening markets in policymaking institutions. It adds the changes in fiscal and monetary policy by giving concern to excess liquidity inflation allowing declines in policy interest rates. |
