Abstrakt:	The article examines the life and work of the British potter Clive Bowen. Particular focus is given to his art technique, which includes woodfired, slip-decorated earthenware. Additional topics discussed include his studies at the Cardiff College of Art, his time spent at Shebbear Pottery in North Devon, England, and details relating to his engagement with artists from other countries.
