Abstrakt: The article presents information on a study which analyzes the use of commercial soybean oil for the remediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) contaminated soils. The results of the study show that soybean oil acts as a nontoxic, inexpensive, and environmentally-friendly solvent to remove eliminate PAH from soils.
