Abstrakt:	The article focuses on bariatric surgery in teenagers. It states that the surgery occurs at a critical psychological development time as adolescence is a period when changes occur. It mentions that though the surgery looks like a promising treatment it is not the only option. It highlights that innovative intervention like addressing relationship between parent and child which affects development of obesity should be addressed.
