| Abstrakt: |
The article presents the author's view on biochar, a new form of biomass which is considered as a back up for intermittent solar and wind. He believes that a solar-wind-biomass hybrid approach will play a significant role for the world to achieve fossil fuel-free electric generation. He also discusses the pitfalls of biochar due to factors including a lack of research and incentive funding, no mass-produced conversion technologies and lack of knowledge of soil science. |
