The article presents the statement from deans of agriculture including Jay T. Akridge of Purdue University, Bobby D. Moser of the Ohio State University and Wendy K. Wintersteen of the Iowa State University, in response to the misinformation on the value of agriculture education in the article by Terrance Loose. It says that Loose should have researched on the numbers in the cursory review of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It also notes the growing number of graduates of agricultural programs. |
