| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on a study regarding impact of extract of Aloe vera gel extract (AVGE) on lipid metabolism in liver cells in mouse. It discusses methodology of the study which includes preparation of AVGE, measurement of triglycerides in cells and concentration of ethanol in blood. The study concludes that AVGE inhibits ethanol-induced accumulation of lipid in liver by inactivation of expression of lipogenic genes. |
